- SFY-Lite 2.0 provides full access to the Speak for Yourself app capabilities for a 30-day free trial period.
SfY-Lite offers access to an extensive vocabulary of nearly 5000 words, along with complete programming capabilities, an exceptional search feature, a history feature, Hold That Thought, and voice options. This allows AAC users, speech-language pathologists (SLPs), other professionals, and family members to experience the user-friendly programming and features of Speak for Yourself, and access the library of almost 11,000 Smarty Symbols®.
It's important to note that SFY-Lite is not intended as a permanent AAC language system for individuals. Rather, it was specifically designed to assess an individual's ability to navigate button size, activate buttons, and utilize Speak for Yourself as a means to enhance communication.
The free trial period lasts for 30 days only. After this time, SFY-Lite will revert back to its static main screen. However, users will still be able to access their history data and vocabulary files even after the trial ends. This means that any programming and customization made during the trial will be saved and easily transferred into the full version.
Speak for Yourself was developed by two ASHA-certified SLPs with extensive knowledge in AAC devices and implementation. We are thrilled to offer the complete functionality of Speak for Yourself to everyone, free of charge! There is nothing to lose and every reason to take advantage of this 30-day trial. With the introduction of the new and improved SFY-Lite, we invite you to join us in our mission of changing the world...one voice at a time.
*The only features not available in SfY-Lite are the Acapela premium voice (offered as an in-app purchase in the full version) and multi-user capabilities (the full version supports up to 40 different user vocabulary files).
